Contact Sheet 1

In my first shoot, I experimented with using a projector as my main light source. By connecting the projector to a laptop, I typed the text onto a word document which automatically transfered onto my model. I found it   quite difficult to fit the text onto the model as I had to spend some time, positoning  the text so it had the right proportions and was clear enough to be read. Being stuck for time, I felt that this method was not the right choice, so to make up for little time that I had left, I still used the projector as my main light source but started to write directly what I had initially typed, onto the model's skin.  I felt that by writing straight onto the model's skin gave a personalised touch, something I feel that typed text would achieve. In terms of lighting effect, the projector did not fully eliminate the surrounding background. As a constant ligth source, it was also restricting to control the intesity of the light beam hitting my model, which I feel would have been easily corrected if I had used a flash head.
