This assignment is centered around capturing photographs of a group of people or a particular individual within their environment. Many photographers who have focused on this subject have given us an inspirational insight into someone elses world. The environment of a person's daily life can reveal extrodinary and unique qualities of an individual. It reflects who we are and how we adapt to our surroundings even within the harshest conditions.
During this project I intend to explore how the environment has shaped the social community and how the inhabitants have put their own mark on the part they occupy. To visualise this idea, I have asked residents of an apartment block if I could photograph each of them separately within their individual flats. By doing this I hope to capture a number various characters and the diverse styles of living that exist within close proximinty of each other.
